- Growing in almost all types of land common vetch is very delicious and nutritious. Especially it is a very suitable fodder for diary cattles.
- Can be used as green hay, dry grass, silage and grain.
- Resistent to cold and draught.
- Vetch and its seeds are rich in several mineral matters and aminioacids.
- High volumes of crops are received from deep, calcareous, clay and fertile soils.
- Can be planted with grain, barley and oat.
- As it covers the land it decreases the erosion, actually it prevents totally, and decreases weeds.
- Sowing should be done in autumn for coastal regions, spring is for cooler winter areas in spring time.
